7 ounces good milk chocolate
3 1/2 cups crispy rice cereal

Directions:

Partially fill a saucepan or the bottom of a double boiler with water and set to simmer over medium heat. Break the chocolate into a heatproof bowl or the top pan of the double boiler. When water is simmering place the bowl or pan of chocolate pieces over it, making sure the bottom of the bowl doesn't touch the water. As the chocolate melts, stir with a wooden spoon till smooth. Remove the bowl from the pan and the pan from the heat. Tip the cereal into the melted chocolate. Stir with metal spoon to coat. Using 2 metal spoons, drop mixture onto waxed paper. Set on a wire rack to cool. Store crunchies in an airtight container.
