Sour Cream Noodle Bake Recipe

2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. pepper
1-16 oz. can tomato sauce
1 c. creamed cottage cheese
1 8-oz. pkg. noodles, cooked and drained
1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 T butter
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 c. Ortego hot taco sauce
1 c. sour cream

Brown meat and onions in butter; add salt, pepper, garlic salt, tomato sauce, and taco sauce. Simmer for 5 min..
Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, and noodles.
Alternate layers of noodle mixture and meat mixture in 9 X 13-inch pan, beginning with noodles and ending with meat. Top with cheese.
Bake at 350 for 20 - 25 min.
