4 c. coarsely chopped apples
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 c. walnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Put apples and sugar in a bowl and stir. Let sit for 1 hour. (I sometimes don't let it sit and the recipe turns out great.) Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Put in a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or cool and spread with vanilla frosting.
