1 c. butter or shortening
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
6 T. milk
5 1/2 c. flour

Frosting

2 2 lb. bags powdered sugar
1 c. white shortening
2 t. vanilla
1 can evaporated milk
3 dashes salt

For 150 Santa cookies you need 3 bags Bakers flaked coconut, 4 pounds powdered sugar, 1 bag raisins and white vanilla.

Cream together shortening, sugar and eggs. Add salt, baking powder and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour and milk alternately. Roll out on a floured board and cut into desired shapes. Bake 375 10 - 12 min.
A double recipe makes 75 santa cookies.
