Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pint heavy whipping cream
1rounded T. minced garlic
1-2 T. butter
2/3 c. Parmesan cheese
salt
pepper
(Optional: 2 tsp. cornstarch & 2 tsp. water to thicken)

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, stirring frequently, heat butter and garlic on med-high until garlic begins to brown. Do not burn. Add cream and reduce heat to medium-low. Stir frequently until heated through and begins to simmer. Add Parmesan cheese a bit at a time and incorporate thoroughly before adding more. Add salt, continue stirring. This mixture can take a long time (30 minutes) to simmer down or you can add the cornstarch and water to thicken and be done within 10 minutes of start time. You choose. Add pepper right before serving so it won’t get too hot. Great served on your choice of noodles, with shrimp, chicken, or plain.
