Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 1/2 sticks butter (the real stuff)
2 c. sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. and 2 T. flour
3/4 c. cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter and sugar well then add eggs and vanilla. Next add flour and beat, then cocoa powder, then baking soda, then salt, beating after each addition. Roll into balls and coat in sugar.

Bake at 350º for 8 to 9 minutes. They will seem way too gooey when you take them out of the oven, but upon cooling a bit, they are perfection!

This recipe makes a lot of cookies, but you will be devouring them by the handfuls so I'd go ahead and make a full batch. You can freeze some if you live alone and don't want to binge. The dough is okay but better when cooked.
