2 cups flour
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 cup butter or margarine
6 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. To make pastry, cream together butter and cream cheese. Add sugar, 2 cups flour and blend well. Shape into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place ball in greased mini tart pan and press up sides.

To make filling, mix vanilla, egg, brown sugar and chopped nuts. Fill center of tart shells with 1/2 tsp. filling. Bake for 17-20 minutes. Cool completely before removing from pans. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
