Salt and pepper to taste
1 C. ketchup
1 C. water
1/2 C. cider vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Place seasoned ribs in two 10x15 inch pans add 1 cup water and cover with foil. Bake in the preheated oven until tender. Baste the ribs with their juices halfway through cooking. Let cool and remove fat. In a medium saucepan, mix together ketchup, water, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, butter, brown sugar, hot pepper sauce, and salt; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer barbecue sauce for 1 hour. Preheat grill for medium heat and lightly oil. Grill over medium heat for about 15 minutes, turning ribs once. Baste ribs generously with barbecue sauce, and grill 8 minutes. Turn ribs, baste again with barbecue sauce, and grill 8 minutes.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Don't think you have to make your own sauce. I rarely do. Baking the ribs early is such a time saver and you don't have to worry about burning the ribs on the grill. Removing the fat after baking is so much nicer for the guests not the have to cut around the fat when they are eating the ribs. You are left with just the great meat. The oven gets them nice and tender and the grill gives them the great BBQ taste. I always make my ribs the day before and grill just before serving. You have more time to enjoy your guests or family. You can also use the drippings for gravy after baking. No pressure saves a gathering every time.
