1 Pound Butter
2 C Sugar
1 Tbsp. light Karo Syrup
1/4 C Water
4 C Shaved chocolate or 2 pkg small choc. chips
2 C Finely chopped pecans or nuts of your choice

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle one half chopped nuts evenly covering bottom of cookie sheet. Sprinkle on half shaved chocolate evenly over nuts. Cook butter, sugar, Karo syrup, and water on soft boil (medium high) stirring constantly until brown with a blue smoke starting to rise from pan-about 310-325 degrees. Remove from heat quickly and pour over nuts and chocolate in cookie sheet. Smooth out if necessary. Sprinkle other half shaved chocolate on hot candy and smooth with the back of a spoon.
Sprinkle other half nuts evenly over chocolate.
Cool for one hour or until chocolate firms and then break into bite size pieces.
