5 eggs
1.5 c milk
1 tsp vanilla
Couple of shakes of cinnamon

Directions:
Night Before:
Slice bread and leave out for at least an hour to get a bit stale.
Mix together the eggs, milk, vanilla & cinnamon.
In another bowl, mix the butter & corn syrup & brown sugar & nuts. This will become a paste.
Spoon the paste to cover the bottom of a throw away aluminum 9x11 pan. This will become the top as the bread slices are flipped over to serve.
Next place one layer of the bread slices on top of the paste. Cover the pan even if you have to squeeze some slices in. You may not use all the bread slices depending on size of loaf. Next pour the milk mixture slowly onto the bread slices so they soak up the milk. Cover the pan with foil and refrigerate overnight. In morning take out pan and let sit for about 30 minutes. Place in preheated 350º oven and bake uncovered for 30 minutes. remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes. Using spatula, serve two slices per person upside down on the plate.

Personal Notes:
This is ALWAYS a hit especially for a crowd, in which case I double the recipe. It's kind of a combination of sticky buns and French toast. Plus the morning is easy since you make it the night before!!
