Personal Notes:
For years Mother had a "victory" garden and we enjoyed the taste of fresh vegetables. The varieties available to the home gardener taste so much better than the truck farm varieties. I still try to fit in tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, beans, cucumbers, herbs, and lettuces and spinach in the spring.
