2 cups sugar
4 Tablespoon cocoa (heaping)
½ cup margarine
1/8 teaspoon salt
½ cup evaporated milk
1 ½ cup uncooked oatmeal
½ cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, cocoa, margarine, salt and milk. Cook on top of stove in large pot. Bring to a boil and cook 1 ½ minutes. Add peanut butter to boiling mixture and continue to cook for 15 more seconds. Remove from heat and add vanilla and oatmeal. Beat with a spoon until mixture starts to thicken a little. Drop by spoonful onto buttered wax paper. Do not overcook or over beat. Don't let mixture cool in the pan before spooning onto waxed paper.
