1 1/2 c. softened butter (no substitutes)
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1 15 oz. can pumpkin
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
3 c. white flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
2 c. quick oats
2 t. baking soda
2 t. cinnamon
1 t. salt
2 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars together in a large bowl. Beat in pumpkin, egg and vanilla. Combine flours, oats, soda, cinnamon and salt and gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips and drop by spoonfuls 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for about 10-12 minutes.
