Chocolate Walnut Biscotti Recipe

2 c all-purpose flour
1/2 c unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
6 T unsalted butter softened
1 c granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 c walnuts
3/4 c semisweet chocolate chips
1 T confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º butter & flour a large baking sheet
In a mixing bowl whisk together, flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
In another bowl with an an electric mixer beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat until well combined. Stir in flour it will be a stiff dough. Then blend in walnuts and chocolate chips.
Flour hands, form into two loaves of dough on prepared sheet into a slightly flattened log 12 inches long 2 inches wide. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Bake logs 35 minutes, or until slightly firm to the touch. Left cool for 5 minutes. Slide onto a cutting board slice diagonally into 3/4 inch slices. Arrange biscotti, cut sides down on baking sheet return to the oven and bake for about 10 minutes or until crisp.

Do not over bake sometimes I do not bake twice if you want more of a brownie consistency or bake for only 5 minutes after cut.
