4 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon

1 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. molasses
2 eggs, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together self-rising flour, ginger and cinnamon. Cream butter and sugar; add molasses and eggs. Add dry ingredients. Let dough sit a few minutes. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet by teaspoonfuls.

Bake at 350º for 7-9 minutes. In place of self-rising flour, you may use: 4 cups all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons soda and 2 teaspoons salt.
