3 tsp. tea (loose) or 3 individual tea bags

2 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar

20 whole cloves
1/2 c. cinnamon drops
1 c. water

3 small cans (6 oz.) frozen orange juice
1 can (6 oz.) frozen lemonade concentrate
2 pts. cranberry juice

Directions:
Directions:
Add tea to water. Steep 5 minutes.

Add sugar and set aside. Add cloves and cinnamon drops to water. Boil 5 minutes.

Mix all ingredients together and add water to taste. Strain out cloves before serving. Serve very hot.


I believe that I have served Cranberry Tea every Christmas Eve since the early 1970's. It is one of our favorite holiday traditions. It keeps for several days in the refrigerator and reheats very well.
