Directions:
Bring 2 c. water to boil. Add 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 c. rice. Stir. Cover tightly. Reduce heat to low and cook for 20 minutes. While rice is cooking, brown ground meat in a heavy skillet over med-high heat. When the meat is no longer pink, add chopped SeasoningBlend and a generous sprinkle of garlic powder and stir well. Cook until all the moisture is reduced and you can just start to hear a sizzle. Turn off heat and wait for the rice to finish cooking. If the rice is already done, carefully spoon hot rice into hot meat mixture and stir well. Add salt and black pepper to taste. Ketchup is really good on this dish.
