1/2-3/4 cup almonds
1 pkg Ramen noodles (leave out the flavor packet and don't follow directions on noodle pkg.
4 T butter
Broccoli flowerets, chopped
Green leafy lettuce, torn
green onions, chopped
15 oz can mandarin oranges, drained
Dressing:
1 cup oil
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup white vinegar
3 t. soy sauce
s & p to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown first three ingredients together in butter until the Ramen noodles are a little brown. Drain on paper towel. Toss with broccoli, onion, lettuce, oranges. Make dressing by adding all ingredients together to blend. Pour over salad.

I got this from a lady in KY at the Shepherd reunion a few years ago. This salad was a hit with everyone there. It is so different and good, but easy to make
