1 part self-rising flour
1 part all-purpose flour

1 c. milk
1 c. chicken broth
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Mix all ingredients by hand and knead. Roll out to about 1/4 inch thick and cut into 1 inch squares. Cook in boiling chicken broth until done.


My favorite meal is one that includes fried chicken, mashed potatoes and chicken and dumplings. This is what my Mamaw cooks for us on holidays and special occasions. Now that Seth, Brittany and I are older, we vie for the leftovers to take back to school with us.
