2 c. raspberries, peaches or other berry type fruit
1 c. flour
½ c. milk
¾ c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
3 T. butter
¼ tsp. salt
1 T. cornstarch
1 c. water or fruit juice
1 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Put fruit in a 9x9 inch pan. Mix 3/4 cup sugar, butter, flour, baking powder, salt and milk, cutting in butter to make a dough. Spread over fruit (it need not be evenly distributed). Mix 1 cup sugar, the cornstarch and water/juice. Pour over entire dish. Bake at 375º for 40 minutes.
