1/4 C butter
1/3 C lemon juice
3/4 C sugar
3 eggs beaten
2 pints vanilla ice cream (4 Cups)

One pie shell cooked and cooled.

Directions:
Directions:
Cook butter, lemon juice, sugar until thick. Chill to cool. Layer 2 C softened ice cream. Freeze. Add half of lemon sauce. Freeze. Layer 2 C ice cream. Freeze. Finish with lemon sauce. Freeze. Slice and serve. Helps to remove from freezer a little before serving.
