2 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water

1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. raw peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, water and syrup and cook until it crackles in cold water. Add peanuts and butter. Cook until peanuts are golden brown. Remove from heat.

Add baking soda and vanilla. Pour into pan lined with heavy duty aluminum foil. (Mixture is extremely hot.) When edges cool, stretch with fork. Carefully break off cooled edges. Continue stretching and breaking candy.

Store in airtight container, lined with waxed paper. This makes a good Christmas gift.
