2/3 c. extra fine granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sliced pared tart apples
1 pkg. refrigerator biscuits
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:

Combine granulated sugar, cinnamon, butter and apples in a saucepan, simmer, stirring occasionally, until apples are tender. Separate biscuits and roll each to an oval shape, about 5 inches long.

Place 1 tablespoon apple filling on half of oval; fold dough over filling and seal edges with fork. (Be certain they are sealed or filling will leak.) Fry in 375º deep fat, turning once, for about 1 minute or until golden brown. Drain and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
