5 slices cinnamon raisin bread, cubed (5 c)
1 c sugar
2 large eggs
2 c milk
1 tbsp. rum (optional)
ground cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Spray a 1 qt. casserole dish(6x6x3) with vegetable oil. Arrange bread cubes in dish.In a separate bowl, beat eggs and sugar together. Beat milk and rum into sugar mixture. Pour mixture over bread cubes and let stand 1 hour, allowing mixture to soak into bread cubes. Sprinkle ground cinnamon lightly over the top. Bake uncovered at 325º until top is slightly brown, about 50-60 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.

This recipe can be doubled by using a 9x13" baking pan. Use 8-10 c. cubed bread, 5 eggs, 2 c. sugar and 1 qt milk.
