2 1/4 c. soft white whole wheat flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. honey
1 c. buttermilk OR 1 c. milk + 1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips-any kind but we like dark the best

Directions:

Measure dry ingredients into mixing bowl. Add liquids and mix just until well blended. Do not over-mix. Drop by spoonfuls into greased muffin tins or use muffin liners. Fill about 2/3rds full. Bake at 400º for 12-15 minutes for regular muffins and 8-10 minutes for mini muffins.
