1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. sausage
1 tbsp. of meat fat
1 green pepper chopped
1 med. Onion chopped
2 tsp. garlic minced (if using powder, 2 tsp.)
3 celery ribs chopped fine
3 cans of 14 oz. Italian diced tomatoes
2 cans of 15 oz. of tomato sauce
2 cans of 6 oz. of tomato paste
1 15 oz. can of stewed Italian tomatoes
C sugar
1 lb. of sliced mushrooms
1 tbsp. or 2 tbsp. Italian seasoning
tsp. pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. parsley
2 tsp. basil
2 tsp. marjoram

Cook and drain the ground beef and sausage. Add to a 6.5 quart slow cooker pan or a lg. soup pan remaining ingredients and stir until all ingredients are combined. Cook on slower cooker 8 hours low or 4 hours high. Add some lemon juice if the sauce is too sweet for you. (1 tbsp.)
