2 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
2 eggs
6 medium grated apples (drained)
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon


2 c. brown sugar
2 T. flour
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. water

Beat sugar, margarine and eggs until smoth. Add grated apples. Sift together flour, soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon. Add to cream mixture. Mix until blended. Pour in 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Mix together sauce ingredients of brown sugar, flour, nutmeg and water. Pour over cake in oven last 30 minutes and bake. Serve with whipping cream or ice cream.
