Cocktail Meatballs Recipe

3 lbs. ground beef
1 c. minced onion
2 eggs
3 tsp. salt
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. pepper

shortening (for frying)

2 bottles chili sauce
1 c. water
1 (16 oz.) jar grape jelly


MEATBALLS: Mix all ingredients; gently shape into 1-inch balls.

Brown meatballs in melted shortening in large skillet. Remove meatballs from skillet and pour off fat.

SAUCE: Heat chili sauce, jelly and water in skillet, stirring constantly, until jelly melts.

Add meatballs and stir until thoroughly coated, Simmer about 15 minutes.
