2 cubes margarine
12 oz cottage cheese (1 1/2 cups)
2 cups flour
Dash of salt

Frosting:
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Divide into thirds, and roll out. Cut into triangles (big end 2-3 inches). Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes at 325º. Cool. Note: 1 recipe frosting will frost double batch of cookies. Use small curd cottage cheese. Do not use new cookie sheets.

I found this recipe with another name, "Cottage Cheese Cookies" with the additional notes: cook until they look speckled, do not use air cookie sheets, and cook at least 15 minutes.
