1 C sifted flour
1/2 t baking powder
1/8 t baking soda
1/8 t salt
1/2 C chopped walnuts
1/3 C butter or margarine
1 C packed brown sugar
1 egg beaten
1 T vanilla
1/2 C white chocolate chips
1/2 C maple syrup
1/4 C butter

1/2 C brown sugar
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 t maple syrup
1/4 C butter

Combine dry ingrediencts sift;Melt butter add sugar egg vanilla and mix well. Graduall combine dry mix and stir in choc. chips. Pour into a 9 inch square pand and bake at 350 for 20-25 min.
Sauce: Combine syrup and butter, cook over low heat until butter is melted. Stir in brown sugar until dissoved and remove from heat. Beat in cream cheese and maple extract until smooth. Serve warm
