4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 egg
1/2 C milk
1 to 2 C all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp white pepper
cooking oil or melted crisco

Pound chicken breasts between two pieces of wax paper to flatten. Beat egg and milk and set aside. Mix together seasonings and sprinkle over chicken breasts.
Dredge chicken in flour, then egg, then back in flour. (Will be messy) Lay chicken on wax paper.
Heat oil until a drop of water pops and spits back.
Carefully add chicken to oil. OIl will pop, so be careful.Brown chicken on both sides then reduce heat and cook 15 to 18 minutes or until chicken is done. Drain on paper towels.
Pour off all but two tablespoons of grease, keeping as many browned bits as possible.Heat over medium heat until hot.
Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of flour left from the chicken in hot oil. Stir with a wooden spoon.
Gradually stir in 3/4 C milk and 3/4 C water stirring constantly. Lower heat and allow gravy to thicken.
