1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup softened margarine
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 10oz. jar maraschino cherries
1 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

Directions:
In large bowl, stir together flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, & baking soda. In mixing bowl beat together butter & sugar on low speed until fluffy. Add egg & vanilla, beat well. Gradually add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Beat until well blended. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press down center reserving juice. Place a cherry in the center of each cookie. In small saucepan, combine chocolate chips & sweetened condensed milk. Beat until chocolate is melted. Stir in 4 tsp. of cherry juice. Spoon about 1 tsp. frosting over each cherry, spreading to cover cherry. Frosting may be thinned with additional juice. Bake at 350 degrees about 10 min or until done. Cool
