Pumpkin Bread Recipe

1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 stick margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. pumpkin
3/4 c. chocolate chips
For the glaze:
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. milk
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cinnamon

Mix dry ingredients. Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs. Add dry ingredients alternately with pumpkin. Stir in chips. Bake at 350F for 70 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Remove from pan.
For the glaze:
Add the milk to the sugar a little at a time to desired thickness. Add nutmeg and cinnamon.
Makes 1 loaf. Double the recipe to make 2!
