6 slices salmon about 1 in. thick
6 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. champagne or dry white wine
2 tbsp. chopped chives or green onions

Dill sauce:
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. chopped chives
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. dried dill weed

Melt butter in a pan; add lemon juice, champagne and chives. Add salmon; baste. Cover, cook over low heat 30 min. Place salmon on a platter and serve with dill sauce.

Combine all sauce ingredients in a glass jar, stir until blended. Refrigerate until serving time.
