Taco Casserole Recipe

1 16 oz can stewed tomatos
1 tsp sugar
3/4 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce

1 lb ground beef
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 9 oz pkg corn chips
5 slices American cheese
2 cups shredded lettuce

Mix sauce and set aside.

Brown ground beef, drain off excess fat. Stir in garlic salt. Cruch sorn chips and place in bottom of 8 x 8 baking dish (or 8 inch round). Spread meat over chips, top with cheese slices. Bake 350 10 to 12 minutes until cheese begins to melt. Sprinkle with lettuce. Spoon on taco sauce, serve immediately.
