1 head of Chinese (ruffled) cabbage
1 pkg of shredded cabbage
Optional: red cabbage or bag of matchstick carrots
5 whole green onions
2 pkgs of Ramen noodles
1/4 c sesame seeds
1 pkg slivered almonds
1/2 c butter
1 c oil
3/4 c sugar
1/4 c vinegar
2 Tbsp soy sauce

Directions:

Chop Chinese cabbage thin and mix with other cabbages, carrots. and thinly sliced onions. Chill
Melt butter and add crumbled, uncooked ramen noodles without seasoning packets. Add sesame seeds and almonds, lightly brown. Let cool for 20 minutes.
Combine oil, sugar, vinegar and soy sauce for dressing, shake to blend.
Toss some of cabbage mixture with some of noodle mixture and some dressing. Toss and serve immediately. Not good left over so only dress what you will be eating.
