2 qts sliced cucmbers unpeeled 1 or 2 onions sliced 3 T salt 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup vinegar
Sprinkle salt over sliced cucmbers and onions. Let stand 2 hrs While cucumbers are standing fix mixture of sugar and vinegar. Let stand 2 hrs., stirring occasionally. Rinse and drain cucumbers. Pour the sugar/vinegar mixture over the cucumbers and let stand 20 min. Freeze in small containers.
