2 pints strawberries, rinsed and hulled
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup water

Trim any white or green area from berries. In a blender, puree enough berries to measure 2 cups. Blend with sugar and water. Pour into cake pan. Cover and freeze until hard, 3-4 hours. Break the mixture into chunks with a fork and transfer to a blender. Process the chunks, scraping the bowl as necessary, until the mixture is smooth and the color becomes lighter. Scrape the mixture into a bowl. Cover and freeze until hard enough to scoop, at least 3-4 hours.
