12 slices raisin bread, dry and firm
2 cups eggnog
1/2 c. butter or margarine
powdered sugar

Directions:

Cut bread into 1-inch wide strips, trimming crusts from any long edges of strips. Pour eggnog into shallow bowl. Dip each bread strip into eggnog, turning strips to coat well. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Cook bread strips on both sides until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. May be served with syrup as well.
