2 c. bread cubes 2 c. milk 3 T. butter 1/4 c. sugar 2 eggs dash salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Day old bread crusts and all cut in 1/4-1/2 cubes and place in buttered baking dish. Scald milk with butter and sugar. Beat eggs slightly and add salt. Stir in warm milk and vanilla. Pour over the bread cubes. Set baking dish in pan with warm water and bake in mod. oven 350 for about 1 hour or till small knife comes out clean when inserted in center of pudding.
