1 sleeve saltine crackers
1 C butter, not margarine
1 C brown sugar
1 – 12 oz. Pkg. Milk chocolate morsels

Directions:

Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil. Cover sheet pan with one layer of crackers. Preheat oven to 400 F.
In a saucepan, melt butter and sugar. Bring to a boil and boil for 2 to 3 minutes. Spread over crackers and bake for 5 minutes
Sprinkle chocolate morsels over the crackers and let stand a few minutes until morsels are soft, then spread. Cool in refrigerator until hard.
Remove from foil and break into large pieces.

Ruth likes it without the chocolate Rosalyn uses 2 cups of sugar which increases the boil time to 7 min. and the bake time to 5 min.
