Pasta and Pepperoni Recipe

3 tbsp olive oil
6 cloves garlic (chopped)
1 tbsp crushed red pepper
3 tbsp fresh parsley (rinsed,dried and chopped)
* salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup of wine
1 16oz can tomato sauce
1 8oz can water
1 large onion (chopped)
1 6oz can black olives (optional)
1 10oz package button mushrooms (cleaned and sliced)
3/4 lb pepperoni stick (sliced thin and quartered)
1/2 cup grated cheese of choice
1 lb penne pasta

1. In sauce pan heat oil on med add olives & pepperoni cook for 3 min,and deglaze pan with red wine reduce by half for about 5 min

2. Stir in the onions,garlic,salt,pepper,mushrooms and crushed red pepper, continue to cook 5 more min

3.Add the tomato sauce and the water and continue to cook 45 min

4.Toss with pasta of choice and fresh parsley
