3 c. sugar
⅔ c. Light Karo Syrup
⅔ c. water
2 egg whites, beaten (stiff peaks)
⅛ tsp.cream of tartar
1 c. chopped pecans
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan combine sugar, Karo syrup, water and salt, bring to a boil. Mix cream of tartar and beaten egg whites. Slowly pour boiled mixture into egg white mixture. Add pecans. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper.
