1 to 2 lbs. smoked sausage
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
2 cans kidney beans
1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. parsley, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. thyme

Cut sausage into 1/4 in. slices. Brown sausage, bell pepper, onion, and celery until vegetables are tender. Put in a crock pot, and add rest of ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve over hot rice.
