1 ½ c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. grated cheese
3tsp. baking powder
1 small can cream style corn
3 eggs
½ c. chopped jalapeño peppers
1 c. sour cream
½ c. shortening or substitute ¼ c. of oil

Directions:
Directions:
Sift the dry ingredients, add remaining ingredients and mix well. Fill muffin tins half full and bake 15 to 20 minutes at 450º. Makes 18 muffins.
