Personal Notes:
I serve it over rice, but in North Georgia they put it in a bowl and eat it like a soup. It's a good dish to send when there is a new baby, sickness, or death in the family. I try to keep the making in the pantry for an emergency.

I've been a member of Flower Show Judges Club in Marietta, Georgia for at least 30 years. Three or four hostesses always provide lunch for the crowd. Since most of us live good a distance away, we have come of with recipes that travel and hold well. This recipe came from a member in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
