1 pkg yeast
1/2 c warm water
2 T shortening
1/2 c brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1/4 c molasses
2 c scalded milk
2 c whole wheat flour or graham flour
1 egg
4 c white flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast with warm water and let stand five minutes. Let cool. Add graham flour and knead until smooth. Let rise until double. Divide into two parts, and let rest for 10 minutes. Put into two loaf pans and let rise to the top of the pan. Bake at 350-degrees for 45 minutes or until brown. Makes two loaves.
