1 c Shortening
2 c Sugar
3 Eggs, Well Beaten
1 t Vanilla
1 c Sour Cream
5 c Flour
1 t Salt
1/2 t Soda
1 1/2 c Nuts, Chopped
1 t Cinnamon
3 T Sugar

Cream shortening and 2 cups of sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and sour cream.
Mix well. Sift flour with baking powder, salt and soda. Add to creamed
mixture. Add nuts. Drop from teaspoon into 3 tablespoons sugar with 1
teaspoon cinnamon. Coat and place on cookie sheet. Press to flatten.
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
