1/2 c butter
1 c sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c oatmeal
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
1/4 c milk
1 c raisins
1 c chopped walnuts

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla; beat until light. Stir in the oats. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and allspice; add to the butter mixture along with the milk. Beat until well blended. Stir in the raisins and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheets about 1 1/2" apart. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes. Remove and cool on racks.
