1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 T. vanilla
8 oz. package dates
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 lb. package orange slice candy
2 c. chopped pecans
4 oz. shredded coconut
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Chop dates and candy with 1/4 cup flour. Mix into batter along with coconut. Add remaining ingredients into batter. Pour into 10" tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 1/2 hours.
